The Late Shift: HBO movie about the behind-the-scenes network politics responsible for the changes in late-night talk-show hosts, after the retirement of Johnny Carson from the Tonight Show on NBC. Jay Leno and David Letterman were both vying for the position, but Lenos tough manager Helen Kushnick got him the spot. In the wake of her stepping on the toes of powerful network executives and playing hardball tactics with guest bookings, she found herself being pushed out of her job as Tonight Show Executive Producer and Jays manager. Letterman, devastated by his being passed over, brought in superagent Mike Ovitz to negotiate on his behalf, resulting in his move to CBS.

zaggle : Love how every one is saying season 3 is out when its just season 2 first episode there uploading. newbs
dragon5layer : seem to be seeing alot of these so called dvd drips but not a single one has been more like really bad cam rips
Maxine Megan : maybe it's because i'm an Aspie, but i thought SOTL was ridiculous and, frankly, boring. Manhunter is a much better, MUCH scarier film -- Joan Allen is fantastic in it.
arcadealchemist : a common thing in the first world where overpopulation and human contact is becoming obsolete. women would rather sell their cunts than get married, sad reality.
